New Orleans Roast experts travel the world to learn as much as they can about the qulaity of the coffee they buy. No detail is too small to be considered; from farming methods to climate and cloud cover. Only a small percentage of the world coffee bean crop is deemed excetional enough for use by New Orleans Roast. Select Beans are plucked while still green, the fruits of the Rubiaceae tree are transported to our artisan roasting facility.

The most important tools used by a Master Roaster are his eyes, ears and nose. Roasting perfect coffee is a hands-on art form perfected by New Orleans Roast expert. With nearly two decades of experience, he is recognized as a specialty coffee expert and has judged coffee competitions around the world.

Artisan coffee roasting can only be done by a skilled Master Roaster. The color of the coffee as it roasts, the smell of the beans and even the sound of the beans in the roaster are all factors in the art of coffee roasting. It is a skill that takes years to acquire and master.

Our Roaster's skills, along with computer controlled roasting technology, allows New Orleans Roast to combine both the art and science of coffee roasting to create the highest quality roasted coffee beans in a consistent proven method.
